Salsa Latina Cyprus - News & Updates Post: 22 September 2026:
🏆 A Proud Weekend for Salsa Latina!
While Reuben & Miléna are back here in Cyprus, our Salsa Latina teams in Christchurch, New Zealand have just had an incredible weekend competing at the South Island Latin Dance Championships 2026 — a National Competition! 🇳🇿🏆
And what a result for Salsa Latina!
🥇 1st – Salsa Latina Mambo Team
🥇 1st – Salsa Latina Bachata Team
🥈 2nd – Salsa Latina Aspire Mambo Ladies Team
PLUS an amazing collection of podium finishes across
Solos, Freestyle, Pro-Am and Jack & Jill! 🏅🔥
Reuben & Miléna created the choreography for the teams and many of the soloists from Cyprus, and recently spent a month back in New Zealand working directly with the dancers, training and preparing them for competition.
So we’re pretty happy watching these results come in from the other side of the world! ❤️
With more than 25 years each dancing, teaching, competing and developing dancers, Reuben & Miléna are now bringing that experience to our growing Salsa Latina community here in Limassol, Cyprus. 🇨🇾💃🕺
A massive congratulations to our entire Salsa Latina NZ crew! ❤️🏆
☀️ Playa 'Beach' Party Was a Blast!
What a night! 🌴🔥
Our Playa Party on Saturday was a great turnout, with dancers joining us from around Cyprus for an evening of Salsa, Bachata, music and dancing right on the beach. 🇨🇾🌊💃🕺
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a fun night!
And there’s plenty more to come…
👀 Keep an eye out for the next Salsa Latina Cyprus event!
