Performance Programme

THIS IS INVITE ONLY
2026 Has Now Started Now in March - Next intake is in March 2027

However if you want to be invited come along to our regular classes to be invited and get noticed & get involved.
We only invite people who are willing to learn & grow - not just choreography, we care about dancers who want to improve.

We’ve launching two Salsa Project Teams in 2026.

But not the usual way!

In the Salsa Latina 26 year tradition,

dancers are built before they are put on stage.

That’s why our 2026 Project Teams will begin with a Performance Training Programme: a 4 x 2hr sessions (2 months) training phase designed to level dancers up and teaching them our flavour before choreography even begins.

Technique. Timing. Body awareness. Musicality. Presence.

Not just counts, steps and formations.

This phase is about:

•  transitioning and refining on2 fundamentals

•  improving balance, weight transfer & control

•  developing performance presence

•  learning to move with intention, not just memory

Only after this phase will dancers be invited into one or both choreographic teams:

✨ Salsa On2 Ladies Team

✨ Salsa On2 Couples Team

These projects are not about being “advanced”.

They are for dancers who are ready to commit to foundations, growth, and quality.

This is an invitation to train differently.

To unlearn habits.

To build something you can stand on: on stage and on the social floor.

Performance Training Programme – FAQ

❓ Is this an advanced project?

No.
This is for dancers who are ready to work on fundamentals seriously.
You don’t need to be perfect: you need to be committed and open to learning.

❓ Can I join only the choreography section?

No.
The choreography phase is built on the Performance Training Programme.
This ensures everyone shares the same technical language and performance standard.

❓ What if I’m not selected for a team after the Performance Training Programme?

The foundation phase is valuable on its own.
Some dancers may be invited to continue immediately, others may be encouraged to keep training and reapply in the future.

Selection is based on:
• consistency
• coachability
• embodiment
• readiness for team work

Not just talent.

❓ Why invitation-only for the teams?

Because trust, safety, and quality matter.
Project teams work best when everyone is aligned in mindset, work ethic, and respect for the process.

❓ Can I apply for both teams?

Yes ( ladies team is open to women only)
Final choreography teams will be decided after the foundation phase.

❓ Is this about performing or improving?

Both: but improvement comes first.
The goal is not just a good performance, but dancers who move, connect, and perform with confidence and integrity.
